The 2026 Blue Flag awards have been announced. In Alanya, a total of 79 locations, including 6 public beaches, 68 hotel beaches, 4 tourist boats, and 1 marina, have been awarded the Blue Flag.

Alanya Municipality was also honored for the sixth consecutive year with the “2025 Best Environmental Education and Awareness Activities Award.” Environmental education programs, beach clean-up events, and recycling projects were cited among the key factors behind the achievement.
Türkiye maintained its position as the country with the third-highest number of Blue Flag beaches in the world, with a total of 580 Blue Flag beaches.
