TurkishThe hosting of the Beach Handball Women’s and Men’s European Championships and the Beach Handball U17 Girls and Boys European Championships was awarded to Alanya upon the application of the Turkish Handball Federation. Alanya, which started its handball organization adventure with Street Handball in 1995, will again be the scene of a big handball festival 30 years later.
With the decision taken by the Executive Board of the European Handball Federation (EHF) on July 19, it was decided to hold the women’s and men’s EHF Beach Handball EURO 2025 on July 8-13, 2025 and the EHF U17 Beach Handball EURO 2025 on July 3-6, 2025 in Alanya. In the championships, which will be the biggest and most comprehensive organization ever held in Turkey, a total of 64 teams from 19 European countries and more than a thousand handball players will fight for the chance of medals in Alanya for two weeks.
