20 YEARS OF FRIENDSHIP AND CULTURAL BRIDGES
\nThe Foreigners’ Council, established in 2004 under the umbrella of Alanya Municipality as the first of its kind in Turkey, celebrated its 20th anniversary with a ceremony held at the Alanya Cultural Center.<\/p>\n
The event was attended by Alanya District Governor Fatih \u00dcrkmezer, Deputy Mayor Murat Levent Ko\u00e7ak, ALTSO President Eray Erdem, Foreigners’ Council President Abdullah Karao\u011flu, and many guests. The program began with a documentary showcasing the council’s 20 years of achievements.<\/p>\n
Deputy Mayor Ko\u00e7ak expressed gratitude, stating, \u201cI would like to thank Hasan Sipahio\u011flu and Fahri Yi\u011fit, who established this structure, for strengthening Alanya’s multicultural identity. Alanya has hosted six civilizations in the past and continues to build an international city culture today.\u201d<\/p>\n
A CULTURE OF TOLERANCE AND FRIENDSHIP
\nDistrict Governor \u00dcrkmezer remarked, \u201cFor 20 years, the Foreigners’ Council has brought different cultures together, setting a remarkable example of peace and tolerance. The council has significantly enhanced Alanya’s international identity and cultural richness.\u201d<\/p>\n
Foreigners’ Council President Karao\u011flu added, \u201cNew residents of Alanya have now become true Alanyans. They generate ideas and projects for Alanya and Turkey and promote the region wherever they go,\u201d expressing his gratitude to those who contributed to the council\u2019s success.<\/p>\n
COLORFUL CELEBRATION PROGRAM
\nThe ceremony concluded with international dance and music performances, followed by the presentation of certificates of appreciation to council members.<\/p>\n
